New Skater Program Schedule:

We are planning to start our first 2023 New Skater Program in Spring! Stay up to date and save your spot, fill out our interest forms for Adults (18+) and Juniors (11-17).

So what is our New Skater Program?

This program is intended to introduce the basics of roller derby in a safe and fun atmosphere. The program teaches basic skating and derby skills, communication, the rules of the game, and team environment, along with much more!

  • Level 1 (off-skates):
    • 6 Weeks 
  • Level 2 (on-skates):
    • On-skate practices will begin upon completion of the program.

When: TBD

Where: TBD

How Much: $50 to complete the 6-week program. Prepay by TBD and save $5! ($45)

Payment Options: Cash, Check, PayPal, and Venmo

What to Bring: water, breathable/unrestrictive clothing, athletic shoes, notepad, pen/pencil

Once you graduate from the off-skates portion, you will move to Level 2 where we will get you on skates and prepare you for your Minimum Skills Testing. This will allow you to start scrimmaging and bouting with our home team, the Battle Born Derby Demons.

2023 Bout Schedule:

February 11, 2023 (Away): Sierra Regional Roller Derby vs Shasta Roller Derby @ Big League Dreams Sports Park: Doors open at 5:30pm, Scrimmage begins at 6:30pm.

March 23, 2023 (Away): Battle Born Derby Demons vs Auburn Outlaws @ Gold Country Fair Grounds: Doors open at 11:30am.

April 15, 2023 (Home): Battle Born Derby Demons Interleague Scrimmage @ Futsol, El Sol de Nevada Sports Arena. Doors open at 3:30pm, Scrimmage begins at 4:00pm. Tickets.

April 15, 2023 (Home): WFTDA Sanctioned Sierra All Stars vs Faultline Derby Devilz @ Reno Sparks Indian Colony Gym: Doors open at 3:30pm, Bout begins at 6:00pm. Tickets.

April 22-23, 2023 (Away): C-Squads Tournament: Battle Born Derby Demons.

October 07-08, 2023 (Home): Deep Blue Tournament: Sierra All Stars.

October 21-22, 2023 (Home): Battle for the Silver Skate: Battle Born Derby Demons.
