SRRD Spectator Code of Conduct

Sierra Regional Roller Derby is committed to a safe and respectful environment and game day experience that respects the rights of each and every guest. All fans are expected to abide by the standards of behavior as outlined in our Fan Code of Conduct.
The Fan Code of Conduct requires guests to refrain from the following:

  1. Behavior that is unruly, disruptive, threatening or violent in nature, including verbal or physical harassment of officials, skaters, staff, volunteers, or fans.
  2. Displaying signs, symbols, images, using language or making gestures that are
    threatening, abusive, or discriminatory, including on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, ability, and/or sexual orientation.
  3. Prohibited entry of items such as weapons, air horns, vuvuzelas, megaphones, laser pointers, and other items deemed inappropriate, harmful, or hazardous by event staff.
  4. Intoxication or other signs of alcohol or substance impairment resulting in poor behavior.
  5. Smoking outside of designated smoking areas.
  6. Foul, obscene, threatening, offensive or abusive language, gestures or actions including fighting or physical violence of any type or conduct that endangers any other person.
  7. Verbal or physical harassment or intimidation of the opposing team or its fans.
  8. Professional cameras, video cameras, and audio recorders are prohibited without prior authorizations and proper credentials.
  9. Interfering with the progress of the game.
  10. Throwing any object while in the facility.
  11. Entering or attempting to enter the track, the skater benches, the locker room or any other location other than public areas.
  12. Failing to follow the instructions of volunteers or Sierra Regional personnel.
  13. Indecent exposure or the wearing of offensive clothing, including racist imagery.
  14. Ethnic intimidation.
  15. Any behavior that otherwise targets other fans or interferes with other fans’ enjoyment of the game.

    Violators of the Fan Code of Conduct will be ejected from the facility. Any fan who violates any of these provisions may be subject to penalty, including, but not limited to, ejection without refund and/or loss of ticket privileges for future games.
