Sierra Regional Roller Derby is committed to supporting your growth and progress regardless of skating experience and/or access to resources, like skates and safety gear.
Our Gear Library offers a variety of gear to try, helping you make the right decision for your long-term needs. We know unexpected equipment needs can arise, and the Gear Library is here to ensure everyone has access to quality gear when they need it most.
Who can use the Gear Library?
The Gear Library is available to all team members in good standing, whether you’re a beginner or an advanced skater. If you need temporary gear, maintenance tools, or want to try something new, we’ve got you covered!
How you can help and get involved
Do you have unused gear collecting dust? Your donations can help a fellow skater get the equipment they need. We’re particularly looking for wheels and maintenance tools to support skaters who may be struggling with financial barriers.
How the Gear Library helps you
Whether you’re new, a returning to skating after a break, looking to try different sizes or brands, or just need tools for maintenance, the Gear Library is here for you!
- Try before you buy: Test out different gear before making a long-term commitment.
- Temporary needs: Borrow wheels or pads to get ready for the next game.
- Quick access to tools: Tools for skater maintenance are available for checkout.
Gear checkout process
How it works: The process is simple! Skaters can request items by filling out a checkout form. Please make sure to read our Official Project Policy for guidelines on responsibility and return expectations.
Note: Every checkout comes with a Reference Card, reminding you of your obligations when borrowing gear.
