We are one league…

… that is encouraging and supportive. We are committed to the success of our leaguemates.

We are welcoming…

…of all. Acknowledging our differences is what makes us a stronger league.

We pursue excellence…

… through continuous practice and team building skills.

We are accountable…

… for decisions we make, and the effort we put into our team.

We communicate honestly…

… creating an open, transparent and trust-based environment.

We inspire creativity and innovation…

… with passion and energy. We respect and appreciate the perspectives of others.

We care…

… about the growth and development of our leaguemates, our volunteers, and how we are perceived by our community.

We all lead…

… by example, every day.

Equity Statement

A more diverse league is a stronger league. We strive to foster an environment where all members feel welcome, included, and supported. We encourage and actively solicit feedback to maintain a safer space for all. SRRD does not tolerate discrimination based on age, size, race, religion, spirituality, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, nationality, ethnicity, cultural background, or citizenship status.

SRRD Gender Statement

SRRD is committed to a climate that is welcoming and inclusive of transgender, intersex, and gender expansive participants and aims to ensure that all members’ rights are respected and protected.

Skating members of SRRD identify as a woman or gender expansive, regardless of sex assigned at birth. An individual who identifies as trans, intersex, and/or non-binary may skate with SRRD if women’s flat track roller derby is the version and composition of roller derby with which they most closely identify. In the case of our WFTDA charter, SRRD must abide by the guidelines set out by WFTDA.

Any conduct which fosters a hostile environment for any participant on the basis of gender identity or expression will not be tolerated. In addition, SRRD will continue to increase its knowledge of trans, intersex, and gender expansive issues through ongoing education for all members. The gender identity of any and all SRRD participants is considered confidential and private.
